On August 4th, IIDEA submitted a formal appeal to the Office of the Labour Commissioner, urging immediate intervention in the ongoing mass layoffs at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). IIDEA condemns the abrupt and opaque layoffs, which have left thousands of employees in distress. We stand in solidarity with all affected employees and demand accountability from TCS management. IIDEA calls upon the government, media, and civil society to support the rights of IT employees and hold corporations accountable for unjust labour practices.
